A single woman in Blackpool (Northern England) has 7 children of which 4 are boys with Asperger's syndrome or autism. Given the circumstances she has handled the situation really well. The narrator is a 13-year-old boy with Asperger's who has already published two books (one of the sons).

Extraordinary People - Daniel Tammet, the Brainman (2005)
Daniel Tammet, a British man with autism has had some extraordinary savant gifts since childhood. For example he can do almost any maths spontaneously in his head, using a system of colour coding which he says comes entirely naturally to him. He learnt to speak fluent Icelandic in three weeks thanks to his photographic memory and gift for languages. Most amazingly, Daniel has learnt to interact with the world around him in a normal way and is not obviously autistic to the casual observer.
