Alan Dershowitz "Terror Tunnels: The Case for Israel's Just War Against Hamas"
RosettaBooks | English | September 10, 2014 | ISBN: 0795344317 | 238 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 3,5 mb
What Alan Dershowitz' book TERROR TUNNELS does is pull together the various strands of history, law and politics that one needs in order to penetrate the muck that has obfuscated, indeed buried, the salient facts about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the modern era. Dershowitz takes on the shameless propaganda that has dressed itself up as legitimate argument. Like the lawyer that he is, he takes on the propagandists' arguments and strips them naked before the jury.
Under the Banner of Heaven A Story of Violent Faith
Anchor | English | June 8, 2004 | ISBN: 1400032806 | 432 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 3,8 mb
Jon Krakauer continues to write brilliant, well-researched books that make the reader think long after completing the book. Following up Into Thin Air and Into the Wild with another terrific book seemed unlikely, but Krakauer has managed to do it. His look at a tragic double murder, and the Mormon Fundamendalist movement, will shock and outrage most rational people. He gives us an insight into a part of America that most of us will never see. As terrible as the murders were, the most horrifying aspect of the book is the disregard that these groups have for women, and their use of underage innocent girls in the name of religion. For someone who enjoys non-fiction, this is a terrific read.
Deborah Bladon "Ruin: Part Two (The Ruin Series Book 2)"
Deborah Bladon | English | October 14, 2014 | ASIN: B00OJG202W | 81 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 3,3 mb
I love the Obsessed. Exposed, Pulse and vain series. I was so looking forward to this second book. I certainly didn't expect the cliffhanger. I'm crushed. I do love the series and the characters who we continue to see how their lives play out. My favorite books are the ones that aren't 3 and more books. It's just a personal preference.
